This battery powered 1/4" tape recorder stopped working suddenly. The owner loved the tone of the machine and wanted it back by any means necessary. Thankfully it was just a stretched belt (pictured below) that had slipped, preventing the take up reel and rewind reels from moving. A standard elastic band is serving as a temporary fix while the belt is sourced! (note: found local replacement)
